Yet most people are taught to approach it that way – endlessly recalling definitions, second-guessing interpretations, quietly wondering why reading the cards still feels uncertain even after years of practice.

This programme takes a different approach entirely. Rather than treating Tarot as a system of fixed meanings to be memorised and applied, we work with it as what it actually is: a symbolic language that trains perception, develops interpretive confidence, and strengthens your ability to trust what you find when you look honestly at a situation.
Whether you’re new to Tarot or have been reading for years, the focus here is the same – learning how to see, rather than what to memorise.
This is not a typical Tarot course
We won’t be drilling card definitions or attempting to cover 78 meanings. We won’t be reinforcing the idea that there is a single correct interpretation waiting to be found – because there isn’t.
Instead, across six weeks you’ll develop the ability to:
Work with Tarot as a symbolic framework rather than a rulebook
- Understand why the meanings model creates confusion rather than resolving it
- Distinguish between intuition, imagination, and emotional interference in your readings
- Develop interpretive confidence that doesn’t depend on memorisation
- Read with coherence and groundedness – without drifting into fantasy or guesswork
- Use Tarot as a reflective tool that builds self-trust rather than dependency

If you already read the cards, it will address the overthinking, interpretive doubt, and uncertainty that most experienced readers carry but rarely talk about.

Your deck
For the richest experience, the Radiant Rider Waite or Light Seers Tarot are recommended – both preserve the symbolic structure we’ll be working with throughout. Any full 78-card Tarot deck is welcome.
This programme is not suitable for oracle decks or hybrid systems.

This means that our courses in Reiki, Crystal Healing, Shamanism and Tarot are accredited and you can apply to become a member of the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine body and get discounted insurance if you wish to practice professionally after taking our courses. Debi Garrett is also a registered Reiki Teacher with the UK Reiki Federation as well as their Standards Ambassador so you are in safe hands.
Terms and Conditions for Bookings
All programmes bookings must be paid for at the time of booking. Each course will have payment options. You can pay in full or you can select a payment plan option.
When you pay in full you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. Your place will be secured on the course you have booked and no refunds will be given should you cancel or fail to attend the course. In the event you need to reschedule your course booking, your course fee can be carried over once only to the next available course date. If you then fail to attend that subsequent course no refund will be given and you will lose your fee. Please ensure, therefore, that you can actually attend the course before making your booking and payment.
When you choose a payment plan you are legally bound to pay the full fee over the agreed period. Should you fail to make your payment or cancel your payment plan, you will be in breach of contract with us and legal action will be taken to safeguard the business. In the event you are attending the course before the payment plan ends, we are trusting you to be honest and to complete your payment plan as legally agreed. Should you fail to do so we will revoke your certification and legal action will follow.
In the unlikely event that Rocks n Rituals has to cancel the class in the event of an emergency situation or a situation which is beyond our control new dates will be arranged for you or if that is not possible then a refund will be made to you.
Right to cancel – 14-day cooling off. You receive immediate access to digital resources upon payment. By completing payment and confirming acceptance of these terms, you expressly request that access begins immediately upon acceptance of your application and acknowledge that this waives your 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. No refunds will be given once access has been granted.
