First Aid Training
Do you know how to save a life?
Knowing what to do when someone needs first aid can mean the difference between life and death. You never know when someone will have an accident, choke on some food or faint. Having first aid knowledge means you won’t panic. You can help them and make them feel safe. Is it time you learned?
In 2017 the first aid training industry was de-regulated. This meant that the Health & Safety Executive no longer approved trainers. On one hand this is good news because it means you can get tailored first aid training from more people. But on the other hand it means that you need to be sure that you select a trainer with excellent knowledge and skills.
As a member of St John Ambulance NI and fully qualified as Emergency Ambulance Crew, I have a wealth of first aid experience and knowledge. I am also FREC4 trained, first aid at work certified and hold certification for the administration of medical gases.
I also hold a Level 3 Award in Education and Training including the Assessment module. This means I am able to offer quality, independent first aid training to you.
However, in light of the rising costs and insurance requirements, I have withdrawn this service from my portfolio.
I wholeheartedly recommend any of the following providers should you wish to train with an accredited provider: –
David Fenton from Paragon Healthcare Academy – email him at david.fenton@paragonhealthcareacademy.co.uk or ring 07542 445874.
Simon from WRTUK – visit their website – Home – WRTUK
