The 5 Biggest Blocks to Consistent Spiritual Practice -And How to Shift Them

“How do you stay so consistent with your spiritual practice?” It’s a question I’m often asked – and I’ll be honest, the answer isn’t some perfect morning routine or rigid discipline. It’s about knowing what gets in the way – your blocks -and consciously choosing to shift them.

Here are 5 of the biggest blocks I see (and how to work with them):

1️⃣ Overcomplicating your practice
You don’t need an elaborate altar or an hour of free time. Simplicity works. One conscious breath can be a practice.

2️⃣ Waiting for perfect timing
There will always be dishes to wash, emails to answer. Don’t wait. Claim five minutes for yourself, here and now.

3️⃣ Following others’ routines, not your own
Your path is unique. If meditation isn’t your thing but dancing is — follow that. Make your practice personal.

4️⃣ Lack of energetic boundaries
If you’re always “on” for everyone else, you’ll burn out. Protect your time and space. Your practice deserves it.

5️⃣ Fear of what deeper practice might reveal
It’s natural to fear change. But the gold lies in those edges. Meet them with curiosity, not judgement.

When you gently shift these blocks, practice becomes a natural part of life – woven in, rather than tacked on.

Inside the Sacred Rebel Circle, we explore this together – in a space where real life and real growth co-exist. If this resonates, you’re invited to join us. Or why not grab my book and read about my own personal story and practice?
