The Courage to Keep Becoming: The Sacred Art of Not Having It All Figured Out

We live in a world that worships certainty – which is why we need to have the courage to keep becoming.

We’re told to “find our path,” “get clear,” and “know our purpose” like it’s something final. Like it’s a destination we’ll one day reach if we just try hard enough.

But real growth?
It’s messy. Cyclical. Non-linear.
It’s more spiral than straight line.

I’ve been sitting with this lately, especially as I edge closer to launching The Call of the Sacred Rebel into the world. I won’t lie—it’s stirred up all kinds of stuff. Self-doubt. Fear of being seen. The urge to pull back and “wait until I’m more ready.”

But I’ve also remembered something deeper:
Becoming isn’t about being certain.
It’s about being willing.

Willing to keep showing up.
Ready to write the words even when they wobble.
Willing to trust that your soul knows the way, even if your head’s still trying to figure it all out.

This is the sacred art of not having it all figured out—and doing it anyway.

If you’re in a season where things feel foggy or uncertain, you’re not broken.
You’re becoming.

And becoming is a holy thing.

We don’t need to wait until we’re perfect or polished or fully healed to take up space. We get to be in process. In motion. In growth. Always.

Because the truth is, we don’t “arrive.”
We evolve.
And we expand.
We remember who we are… again and again.

And that, to me, is the most sacred kind of rebellion.
